2010 - Spent the week with Charlie in Grand Rapids at his grandparents’ house. Went to the Grand Rapids Art Museum, the Urban Institute of Contemporary Arts, and the...

Things I am going to do during my gap year:
(in no particular order, and in no way complete)
See the Grand Canyon and the redwoods (must hug a redwood, or it doesn’t count).
Go to Washington DC, finally.
Visit & apply to all the grad schools I’m looking at.
Grow a vegetable and herb garden.
Stay with (“visit”) Daniel for a little bit in NYC (That cool, Daniel? OK, cool.)
Learn ancient Greek.
Get into a...

This is one of the most lovely and comforting things I’ve ever read or heard about death and grieving, and I have been to more funerals than I can remember.

I’d rather look at grad schools than do the school work required for good grades required to get into grad school.
